Taste of Scotland Experience

The ultimate Edinburgh whisky experience. The Taste of Scotland package at the Scotch Whisky Experience combines a guided tour through the world’s largest collection of Scotch whisky, an expert-led tasting session, and a beautifully crafted tasting menu meal — all in one unforgettable evening. At £95 per person, this is the definitive way to experience Scotland’s national spirit paired with exceptional Scottish cuisine.

BackHug Therapy

Every guest at Crescent House receives a complimentary BackHug session — a robotic deep-tissue massage that targets your back with precision impossible to achieve by hand. Lying face-up, you’ll feel gentle robotic fingers work methodically along your spine, releasing tension accumulated from travel and daily life.

It is the perfect way to unwind after a long flight or aday exploring Edinburgh, and it is included with your stay at no extra charge.

Car Parking

Free parking is available right outside Crescent House daily from 1730-0830 and all weekend. If you need mid-week parking, please book the number of days required in advance (per 24-hour period) and we will arrange this with our neighbour behind Crescent House for your whole stay.

Lind & Lime Gin Tour

Come and discover how Lind & Lime make gin, the stories behind it, and enjoy a few cocktails in the process. A fascinating look at Edinburgh’s gin heritage and the craft behind one of Scotland’s most celebrated contemporary distilleries.

Port of Leith Distillery Tour & Tasting

Over the course of 90 minutes, you’ll hear the story about two friends who wanted to make an extraordinary whisky, work your way through their remarkable building and vertical distillery layout, fill your very own 10ml bottle of their spirit, and understand whisky-making like never before with a tasting that takes you right the way through the production process.

Includes 5 tastings. Sessions available Thursday to Sunday, 1200-1700. Please indicate in notes when you would prefer your tours.

Crescent House is available for exclusive-use private events, receptions, gatherings and intimate celebrations. This works best when guests hire all three exclusive suites for two nights then we can accommodate your private function, With its soaring ceilings, roaring fires, art-filled walls and period grandeur, the house provides a backdrop unlike any conventional venue in Edinburgh.

From product launches and press dinners to milestone birthdays and engagement celebrations, we work with you to create something unforgettable — with full catering, styling and coordination available.

Scottish Highland Tours

In partnership with Timberbush Tours, we offer our guests priority access to Scotland’s finest day and multi-day tours departing from Edinburgh. From the Highlands and Isle of Skye to Loch Ness, St Andrews and the Borders — explore Scotland’s dramatic landscapes with expert guides.

Film & TV Location

Crescent House is available for film and television locations. Its authentic Georgian interiors — original fireplaces, ornate plasterwork, tall sash windows and period proportions — have already attracted productions seeking an atmospheric Edinburgh setting.

With flexible access, parking, on-site support and a central New Town address, we welcome enquiries from production companies, location scouts and independent filmmakers.
