Our Calton Suite with deep bath in its en-suite bathroom and offers views of Calton Hill, with our half Parthenon, our Athens of the North! Arthur’s Seat, our extinct volcano, is in the middle of the City within Holyrood Park. You can also see the W Hotel in the St James Quarter and the flag on top of the Balmoral Hotel at the East End of Princes Street. The Calton has a sofa, a table and chairs under the window, and ample storage space.

Occupying the full width of the principal floor, the Calton Suite is a much-loved room at Crescent House. South-facing windows frame one of Edinburgh’s great private views — the crags of Arthur’s Seat rising above Holyrood Park, the columned crown of Calton Hill, and the Balmoral’s clock tower standing sentinel at the East End of Princes Street.
By day, the cityscape shifts with the light; by night, the suite becomes an intimate retreat. A table and chairs sit beneath the window, perfectly placed to take in the panorama, while a generous sofa and ample storage make longer stays effortless.
The en-suite bathroom completes the experience — a private sanctuary to unwind after a day in the city, with the Athens of the North waiting just beyond the glass.
